After years of planning, the inaugural Diversity & Inclusion Top 50 UK Companies will be launched in 2015.
This UK wide Diversity & Inclusion League Table recognises public, private and third sector employers across the country that have exceptional workplace diversity and inclusiveness programs. They are also the top 50 corporate and organisational buyers of diversity products and services throughout the country. The list represents performance amongst Women, Blacks, Asians, Disabled, LGBT, Faith and other minority groups, across all sectors.
While other awards and “top” lists highlight organisations for overall economic growth, returns to shareholders and similar metrics, the Diversity & Inclusion Top 50 UK Companies list is an indicator of which public, private and third sector organisations provide the best environment for diverse employees and the most business for diversity-owned companies. In a marketplace that is increasingly as sensitive to diversity as it is to revenues, recognising the top buyers of multicultural products and services is becoming a natural part of the new socioeconomic food chain.
Entry on the list is dependent on the organisation being evaluated, based on our specially formulated surveys that comprises more than 200 empirical questions, which have predetermined weightings. The survey examine diversity and inclusion performance in relation to:
- Owner and Senior Management commitment to Equality and Diversity
- Human Resource Management
- Supplier Diversity
- Community engagement
